Susan is a home grown New York City talent. Educated in the New York City Public School System and receiving her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Columbia University, she has been visiting New York City construction sites since her teenage days. Her years at YAS have given her broad-based experience designing buildings, renovations and rehabs, bridges and roadways. Susan has particularly extensive expertise in the design and rehabilitation of educational buildings for both K-12 and Higher Education as well as transportation structures.

January 27, 1951 - October 30, 2021Jaime M. Ocampo was born on January 27, 1951 in Mandaluyong, Philippines. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Jim was a beloved brother and active member of the Beta Epsilon Fraternity whom he stayed connected to all throughout his life.
In 1984, Jim immigrated to the United States laying a solid foundation for his family launching his Structural Engineering career at Rosenwasser/Grossman Consulting Engineers, P.C. Jim soon joined Ysrael A. Seinuk, P.C. in 2001, where he dedicated his time and talent as he significantly contributed to the growth and development of the YAS we know today.
Jim’s project portfolio includes high-rise buildings, health care facilities, parking structures, theaters and sports stadiums. Several of his notable projects have included: 111 Varick Street; 785 Eighth Avenue; 790 E. Broward Blvd, Ft Lauderdale FL; O14 Dubai, UAE; Seven World Trade Center; Loft 2, Miami FL; Cancun Airport Control Tower; St Tropez Complex, Sunny Isles FL; Solis Resort, Sunny Isles FL and Manila Flair (Twin) Towers, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
In his 37 years in New York City, he has designed projects that have received multiple awards form professional organizations such as the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the Concrete Industry Board (CIB). Jim’s work reflects the fact that he loves the challenge that every new project brings and always looks forward to pioneering innovative structural solutions.
Jim has remained an integral part of YAS even after his retirement in February 2021. Jim was a remarkable man who was not only recognized for his brilliant work but his life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and friends.
