A major rehabilitation of the existing 93,000 SF Stocking Hall and a new addition of 110,000 SF research and laboratory facility will be completed for the Food and Agricultural College.

Stocking Hall Rehabilitation/System Upgrades Project consists of three (3) interconnected structures from 3 to 4-stories in height built at various times over the course of the last century.  The existing middle structure is being demolished and a new and larger Food Service building will take its place,   accommodating classrooms, research laboratories, a new enology program, a dairy plant and dairy bar, as well as faculty and administrative offices.

The building at the west herein referred to as the Tower Building will be completely renovated and new amenities will be added.

The existing interior of the Tower Building, excluding the floor construction, will be completely gutted. New stairs, an elevator, and new mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems will be installed which will require closing off most existing floor opening and adding new opening and framing as required. This gut renovation is being phased for continued occupancy, having students and faculty relocate to the new addition until the project is completed.
