As Met Square is nearing completion, it has officially opened the six-story, 16-screen luxury Silverspot movie theater located 300 SE 3rd Street in Downtown Miami, Florida. It is the first movie theater to open in Downtown Miami since Omni six-plex, more than 40 years ago. The new 70,000sf cinema includes recliner seats, in-theater dining services, and an additional space called The Spot. Unique to the downtown location, The Spot lounge is an onsite bar and an adjoining lounge area. The VIP venue is also available for private events and is opened to the public during special screenings and events. Currently the cinema has nine open auditoriums that feature between 30-130 reclining seats. Parking is also offered directly across from the theater.
