YAS performed structural engineering services for the relocation of PANYNJ’s corporate functions to floors 7 to 21 with one podium floor that includes a cafeteria, conference center, and an emergency command post in the new World Trade Center- Tower 4 (4WTC). Our scope of work was as follows:
- Performed a field inspection and issued a structural inspection report of the existing condition of the structure on 7th to 21st floor
- Worked with an independent licensed surveyor to assist floor levelness and flatness survey, reviewed survey report and issued an evaluation report on the existing floor levelness and flatness condition. Suggested remediation methods to address FF/FL condition
- Provided structural engineering services for the interior fit out related work for architectural, and MEP trade of work. Provided structural design for movable partitions, hanging partitions, high density file support, floor penetrations, MEP equipment support related checks
- Issued construction drawings and specs for PA review and SPI review
- Addressed PA review comments and SPI review comments
- Reviewed cost estimates and provided structural comments
- Responded to bid RFIs and reviewed bid documents
- Performed CA related service
