The new Children’s center will be a 2-story, 114,000 SF building and will feature 78 beds along with spaces for Pediatric services. Structural system consists of steel braced frames and steel moment frames.
The new “Adult Village” will be a 3-building residential complex comprised of a 4-story, 46,000 SF, 96-bed Transitional Living Residence building (TLR), a new 5-story, Safe Horizon Haven House which will have a 24-bed and a 20-bed wing and a 48-bed studio residence (SRO). The
Adult Village will provide assistance to patients transitioning from an impatient to an outpatient environment.
The new 42,300 SF OMH Central Services Building (CSB) will house support spaces and services for the adjacent Children’s and Adult facilities. The support services segment includes a kitchen, staff locker rooms, storage, administrative offices and instructional classrooms. The building is composed of a steel structure and composite deck on a pile supported slab. The steel is designed to support and protect the mechanical systems of the utilities segment.
The 6,000 SF Central Utility Plant, located in the CSB, provides a central chilled water plant, heating plant and electrical distribution. The campus is being designed using REVIT and will be LEED Silver certified with state of the art facilities. Estimated $350 million construction cost.
