Phase I of the new Jacobi Medical Center Major Modernization consist of a new nine-story, The new 344 bed inpatient facility includes 36,000sf emergency departments, 43,500sf surgical and ambulatory surgery suite, a 28,000sf state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostics center, and a 28,000sf central sterile supply areas. 

340,000sf steel building that is connected by an enclosed walkway to the old Jacobi Medical Center and serves over 1.2 million New York residents.
