The Miami Marriott World Convention Center is a 60-story concrete and steel structure comprised of four main parts: a main hotel tower located on west side of the podium, a north wing, a south wing, and a large podium. The podium layout consists of a 12-story parking structure on the west side and the east portion consists of three levels of open space exhibition halls, conference centers and theaters on the first four primary levels. Atop this large public area is an open deck featuring a pool, gym, spa, and kitchen. This open deck acts as the base for the north wing, south wing, and main tower. The floor perimeters of these wings deviate slightly causing a sweeping motion as they begin to elevate and merge into each other.
